After a weekend of hurricane preparation, "Douglas" decided to breeze by the Hawaiian Islands in pursuit of destruction elsewhere.
Peace returns to the Islands.
Doing everything within one's power to prepare
and then patiently waiting out the results
is, perhaps, a lesson for the remainder of the year.
