there is much to be seen

Agave

Everyone who walks this planet lives along a routine.  As soon as we are faced by new circumstances we look for the road of least resistance.  We drive to work via the shortest route.  We arrange our work in such a manner that we can achieve as much as possible with as little strain as possible.  We invent, often without being aware of it, a great many defense tactics.  And once the routine is formed we follow the dotted live with our eyes closed.  During the interval between getting out of and into our beds we avoid all obstacles and, in the even we can’t avoid them, we build a bridge or cut ourselves a path through the jungle.

And should anyone appear who tells us that it must be done otherwise we lose our tempers and try to get rid of him.

But the moments of change are of importance.  At those moments we are forced to wake up and look around.  And only when we are awake do we see something, and there is much to be seen.  We live in a miraculous world.
